The plastic lumber used in creating our chairs is manufactured on site. Various kinds of plastic are washed and chipped. Color pigment and UV protector are added. The plastic is then extruded into various size molds and comes out like plastic lumber. When the plastic lumber is cooled it is ready to be used to create a wonderful product. We do not recommend pressure washing with a high pressure hose. Light pressure only is all that is required and that will remove any dirt on the surface without damaging your chair. It is not necessary to store your product in the winter .
